Malthouse Barn Stud is south of Haywards Heath and south east of Burgess Hill. We are 10 minutes from Plumpton College and Race Course. We are 15 minutes north of Brighton. We are 15—20 minutes from the A23.

Situated at the foot of the South Downs we are incredibly spoilt with fantastic hacking and picturesque views.

Unfortunately there is very little in the way of public transport. So a car is essential for getting to us.

Malthouse Barn Stud

If you come onto Streat Lane from the north, then Malthouse Barn Stud is the 5th property on the right hand side.

If you come onto Streat Lane from the south (with the Downs behind you), then you need to drive all the way up the lane until you eventually go under a railway bridge. After the bridge we are the 1st property on the left hand side.

The yard is very tucked away and can’t be seen from the lane but there is a sign to it from the road. There are further signs that take you to the car park. Once in the car park you will see the entrance to the yard.
